Electricity is practical, but dangerous! In most cases, nothing happens… But when it does it often ends in disaster, and more often than not it is electro-professionals who are the victims as they are most exposed to electrical risks.

A full-scale risk-analysis in environments with electrical dangers is time consuming and often complex. This applies especially for arc faults.

As a contribution to improving this situation, you can find a simplified tool to estimate electrical dangers in the Download section, as an addition to established methods of risk assessment in this field.

Designed to support practitioners in correctly recognizing risks and applying preventative measures, the tool is also available as en excel / paper version(see Downloads). Currently, this documents are only available in German.

The model was developed by practitioners for practitioners. Safety guidelines and limitations must be adhered to, and in cases of doubt expert advice should be called for. This contribution to accident prevention is based on constructive feedback from professionals in the field. Any criticisms or proposals for improvement are therefore highly appreciated.
