If - as history shows - conflicts can be escalated by the media: How can this dynamic be inverted? How can the deescalating potential of media be valued?

Over the last two decades, media initiatives have been established as peace building measures in many conflict zones around the world. And as the question of how to realize continual improvement in this sector is often at the heart of debate, I am conducting intense research in this field since 2008.
